How to access the Team Management Profile: three ways

Updated 21 October 2026

There are three ways to access the Team Management Profile (TMP): get accredited and deliver it yourself, work with an accredited practitioner, or use TeamOS, a platform that puts the TMP to work every day with Oski, the AI coach. The right choice depends on whether you want in-house capability, an expert-led session, or ongoing support for a team leader.

The Team Management Profile (TMP) is an online questionnaire that measures how people prefer to work. It maps work preferences across four dimensions, known as RIDO (Relationships, Information, Decisions, Organisation), to eight team roles on the Team Management Wheel. The TMP is for development, not recruitment or selection.

Accreditation trains you to run TMP profiles and debriefs yourself. It suits HR, L&D and OD professionals, coaches, consultants and leaders who want to deliver the TMP across many teams.

  • Format: public workshops, virtual or face-to-face, or in-house programs for groups of 5 or more.
  • Time: 1 to 3 days. TMP accreditation includes Team Signals accreditation.
  • Assessment: no exam. You show competence through practice facilitation, case interpretation and peer feedback.
  • After accreditation: administer profiles and generate reports in the TMS Global Portal, and use session designs, facilitation guides and research.
  • Ongoing: accreditation is lifetime, with no annual renewal fees or continuing education requirements.

ICF CCE hours: TMP accreditation carries ICF approval for 12 Continuing Coaching Education hours.*

*Available for TMP accreditation delivered by TMS Global APAC only, in live trainer-led formats only (in person or live virtual).

You must be accredited before administering TMS Global profiles or facilitating debriefs.

An accredited practitioner runs the profiles and a facilitated debrief for your team. Team members complete the questionnaire online. The debrief usually takes 2 to 4 hours and covers the team’s role profile, strengths, gaps and ways to work together.

  • Network: 24,000+ accredited practitioners deliver the TMP in 190 countries.
  • Format: in person or online. Many practitioners also offer programs, coaching and workshops.
  • Search the directory: filter by location, expertise and accreditation, or contact TMS Global to be connected.

TeamOS is a platform that puts the TMP to work every day, without a practitioner present. Each team member completes the TMP on the platform.

  • See the team: the team Wheel shows where strengths cluster and where the gaps are.
  • Act: Oski, the AI coach, gives guidance based on your team’s data, for example on onboarding a new hire or resolving a clash.
  • Where it works: Oski is available in Microsoft Teams, so leaders and team members can get guidance in the tool they already use every day. TeamOS also works in the browser.
  • Data: hosted in Australia.
  • Start: try the sandbox, book a demo or start a free trial.

Yes. Expert-led sessions and TeamOS work best together: the sessions build understanding when a team forms or changes, and TeamOS keeps the insight working in between.

  • Accreditation and TeamOS: accredit people in HR, L&D or OD, or in your own practice, to deliver the TMP. TeamOS then gives every team always-on access to its profiles, with Oski turning each team’s TMP into daily guidance on delegation, blind spots and who to involve.
  • A practitioner and TeamOS: an accredited practitioner runs the debrief, TeamOS carries the insight into daily work, and the practitioner returns for the next session.

For practitioners, this builds a practice on repeat engagement rather than one-off workshops. For organisations, it turns a workshop into a sustained system.

  • Get accredited if you will use the TMP with many teams, or want to build it into your coaching or consulting practice.
  • Work with a practitioner if you want one team to get an expert-led debrief without training anyone in-house.
  • Use TeamOS if a team leader wants to use the TMP day to day, with AI guidance between sessions.
  • Combine them if you want expert facilitation when teams form or change, and daily support in between.
